“Hands tell stories”
The science of hands is very complex and unique. Each fingerprint is unique for social interaction. Each vein contains data that could help scientists determine a person's health history. Astonishing, hands also evoke emotional connection, enabling photographers to craft powerful stories.
During the pandemic lockdown, like everyone else, I stayed home and started practicing hand photography by taking many pictures of my mom's hands. At that time, she helped sew hundreds of masks for friends and nurses. Since then, I have had a passion for hand photography because hands are a metaphor; they weave stories from the past into the future, teaching us lessons about hope, resilience, and dedication.
